= Unofficial Fourteeners

Many peak baggers consider several of the Colorado Fourteeners to be unworthy of their 'Fourteener' status. To them, a peak must rise at least 300 feet above its saddle that connects it to any nearby taller Fourteener to be considered an official fourteener on its own merit. Otherwise, they feel it should just be considered a sub-peak of the tallest one. They might be right, but I still think most peak baggers probably go ahead and bag them anyway.
