Henry Nelson Needham was born on 30 September 1868 in Polk Co., Missouri.1 He was the son of John M. Needham and Matilda Dodson.2 He married Ida Odell Yount on 17 Jun 1888 in Missouri. Ida (b. 24 Feb 1870, d. 1 Jul 1904) was the daughter of Peter B. Yount and Mary Jane Kuffman.1 Sometime between 1905 and 1906 he had a second marriage to Leatha Mae Cowan (b. 19 Dec 1885, d. 8 Dec 1969).1 Henry died on 19 January 1937 in Fame, McIntosh Co., Oklahoma, at age 68.1
