     George Washington Isbell was born on 22 July 1859 in Murray Co., Georgia.2 He was the son of Robert Isbell and Lucinda Tucker.1 George Washington Isbell married Georgia Eliza Walker, daughter of George W. Walker and Sarah E. Wikle, in 1886 in Mesquite, Texas.1 After his wife Georgie's death in 1913, George married his second wife Jesse Mary Neal Harper in 1915. There were no children in this marriage.1 George Washington Isbell died on 19 April 1924 in Wellington, Collingsworth Co., Texas, at age 64.2
